Alessandra's Baptism | Toms River, NJ

It was a beautiful date celebrating Alessandra's baptism at St. Catherine's Cathedral in Seaside Heights, NJ. We spent so much time here as children and it was so special to return for my niece's baptism.

Christian (Newborn Session/Mahwah, NJ)

It was such a gorgeous day out, I am so happy we took Christian's newborn session outside. Bonus to being a summer baby! The fresh air had Christian nice and sleepy, no need for the baby shusher.

It's always fun to see the relationships between new siblings during our sessions. It's an adjustment and sometimes a shock to new siblings that this new baby is coming home with you and staying forever. Watching Emily with her little brother was so sweet to see. She couldn't wait to hold him and was so gentle with him. She's a natural! :)

Brady's Newborn Session ( Washington Twp, NJ, Newborn Lifestyle Photography)

It feels like yesterday that Brady's parents shared their good news that they were expecting during their holiday session. I am so excited for their beautiful family and their newest addition. Big sister Cameron is one of my fave little girls ever and to see how proud she was to hold her baby brother just made me melt. How can you not melt staring at that huge smile!!

Welcome to the world Brady!!

Maggie's Senior Session (Englewood Boat Basin, NJ Photographer)

It's totally not a NJ thing to do a senior session like it is in other parts of the US. So when Maggie's mom called me asking for help, I was so excited to try my hand at a senior session. We had our hearts set on spring flowers and gardens but we also had a bit of schedule to keep so that Maggie could get her pledge applications in.

Headed down to the Boat Basin which is one of my fave spots. It's where I actually did my engagement sessions all those years ago. :P

We had so much fun! Wishing you all the best in Alabama Maggie!!

Marlo + Theo's 5th Birthday Mini (Maplewood, NJ Photographer)

I can't believe that these two cuties are FIVE! Driving over to meet them for our session, I kept thinking back to how teeny tiny they were! I remembered visiting them when they were just home from the hospital and Theo was the teeniest baby I ever held!

Their mama, Lisa was my twin mama mentor when I found out I was having twins. She made it look so easy and still does. :) Just a beautiful family with an infectious energy, always have fun hanging with you guys.

Narrowing down this gallery was HARD. Theo with his ukulele + Marlo dancing along is the sweetest thing ever! Happy Birthday Beans!

In-Home Lifestyle Session (Bergen County, NJ Photographer)

Last month, I had the chance to hang with one of my fave little clients', Miss Cameron. She is such a doll and I can't believe how much she has grown since we first met last year for her Cake Smash.

She showed me all around her house and we played with some of her fave things. I love in-home sessions. It's all about Cameron and her everyday life. The things we forget so quickly but will miss the most as they grow up. One of the things Marco & Olivia love to talk about is what they were like when they were little. I make them little photo books of their favorite things. I am sure Cameron will cherish these and her parents. Her fave book, Daniel Tiger, her hair bow collection.

How cute is her playroom?! I am obsessed with the decals! I may have a bit of a sweet tooth and am addicted to anything Gummy. Gummy Bears, peaches..anyway let's not talk about it since I am on day 2 of a cleanse ha ha)

In-home Lifestyle Session (Old Tappan, NJ Photography)

Last month ( I know I am behind on blogging..again) I had the pleasure of working with Angeline of Macaroni Kids and her two adorable kids.

Izzie had just had her birthday party the day before and couldn't wait to get her hands on some of her gifts. What's better than stickers and crayons?!

This is what I love about in-home sessions, it's less stress and just flows more naturally. The kids had fun doing something that they enjoy and have fun. I will say it again and again, this is what you and they will cherish years from now. The memories of their childhood, hanging out at home, doing the everyday things, looking back at what their rooms were like, their favorite books.

Cole read me a story from his fave Big Hero 6 book, Izzie danced her around her room and named all the planets! (impressive for a 4 yr old!)
