Lily's mom reached out wondering if it was too late for a newborn session since she was already 3 weeks old. NO! Never! It's ok to wait if that's what works for you and your family. Just make sure you do capture your little one and your family. That's what makes in-home sessions so wonderful...your home makes a beautiful backdrop, it's much more relaxing and it's special to have these memories to look back on for years to come.Read More
It was a beautiful date celebrating Alessandra's baptism at St. Catherine's Cathedral in Seaside Heights, NJ. We spent so much time here as children and it was so special to return for my niece's baptism.Read More
The weather in New Jersey has been crazy these last few weeks...Anthony's birthday session was supposed to be outside but with the freezing temps, we moved inside. We still had a blast, I mean c'mon look at this cutie and his smile! How could we not?!Read More
Hi-five to me for 2 sessions done and I blogged! :) Hustling away over here!
I've known Allie since way back when we were newly engaged and planning our weddings. Here we are 8 years later, our families have grown and instead of seating charts and wedding favors, we chat about Daisy troops and Kindergarten life. (total run on sentence, leave me alone ha ha)
Leila is mom's mini-me!
There is something so special about capturing family sessions... yes, I give them the gift of memories and this time of year those images for their holiday cards and prints for their walls but really it's a gift to me. I walk away from each session with gratitude for my family, that I get to do what I love and to just have fun. Hudson and his parent's are definitely one of those families that I love to watch interact together. They are just fun people and they love this sweet funny little boy so much. It's awesome to capture.
And can we just agree that mom & Hudson have awesome hair?! I mean really, I need whatever vitamins you are taking.
It was such a gorgeous day out, I am so happy we took Christian's newborn session outside. Bonus to being a summer baby! The fresh air had Christian nice and sleepy, no need for the baby shusher.
It's always fun to see the relationships between new siblings during our sessions. It's an adjustment and sometimes a shock to new siblings that this new baby is coming home with you and staying forever. Watching Emily with her little brother was so sweet to see. She couldn't wait to hold him and was so gentle with him. She's a natural! :)
I first met Max's family in the fall for their holiday session and we had a great time. I was excited to come back and capture his newborn session. He was a sleepy little angel during his session. More and more I love doing more natural baby led posing and using blankets with different designs and textures. And let's be real, you can't get any more precious than a baby in a simple white onesie. Am I right? Mom did a great job with Max's nursery, I was obsessing over his Little Prince poster! That's one of mine and Marco's favorite books!
I forgot all about this day and these images! Marco + Olivia played in the water for over an hour. It was a perfect summer day. Kids playing in the water, just enjoying the simple pleasures of warmer days...glorious!!
Dear Nico, you are just too cute for words.
You are in for quite an adventure growing up with 2 older brothers and your big sis too. But as the oldest of five myself, let me tell you that it's a pretty awesome way to grow up. :)
I kept going back and forth about whether we should head down to the beach due to the wacky NJ weather but then I said let's just do it. I am so glad we did! As soon as we got to Long Branch, it started to rain but we stuck it out, grabbed some fro yo and headed back to the beach.
Olivia takes after me and my LOVE of the ocean. The girl is fearless! Once Marco saw us kicking in the waves, he joined in and we had a blast.
After this week's beach mini session with Marco + Olivia, my obsession for Tutu du Monde has quadrupled. I need more!! I've been hoarding this dress for a beach session. The colors just look so pretty. Every little girl needs a Tutu du Monde moment. ;)
Make sure you check out my FB page around 8PM tonight for all the details on Saltwater Mini Sessions this summer!
