Making your first Holy Communion is such a special day for children..Read More
It was a beautiful date celebrating Alessandra's baptism at St. Catherine's Cathedral in Seaside Heights, NJ. We spent so much time here as children and it was so special to return for my niece's baptism.Read More
I just realized that the last 5 sessions I've blogged are all boys! So funny! They do melt your heart though, don't they?
Well, here's one more sweet boy that melts my heart...Happy Birthday Cameron!!
You would never know that we were being followed by some mean ass geese..:P
The first time I was supposed to meet Travis and his parents it poured like a monsoon. We both ended up up in the parking lot of the botanical gardens and then BAM....rained so hard. Oh.... but then Mother Nature smiled on us and gave us a perfect day when we rescheduled.
Travis is the biggest flirt ever with that smile and twinkly eyes...I can't wait to see him in a few months for his 1st birthday session.
Little boys should never be sent to bed because they always wake up one day older.
I first met Max's family in the fall for their holiday session and we had a great time. I was excited to come back and capture his newborn session. He was a sleepy little angel during his session. More and more I love doing more natural baby led posing and using blankets with different designs and textures. And let's be real, you can't get any more precious than a baby in a simple white onesie. Am I right? Mom did a great job with Max's nursery, I was obsessing over his Little Prince poster! That's one of mine and Marco's favorite books!
One of my favorite things to do is scout out new places for client sessions. Ok, so Ferry Road isn't that much of a secret spot but it's still one of my faves. Each time I go I find a new little corner that I love.
It was WINDY! Reminds me of beach vacas, wind in your hair while on the beach or on a boat. Reallly we were just hanging out on the Hudson. ;)
It's totally not a NJ thing to do a senior session like it is in other parts of the US. So when Maggie's mom called me asking for help, I was so excited to try my hand at a senior session. We had our hearts set on spring flowers and gardens but we also had a bit of schedule to keep so that Maggie could get her pledge applications in.
Headed down to the Boat Basin which is one of my fave spots. It's where I actually did my engagement sessions all those years ago. :P
We had so much fun! Wishing you all the best in Alabama Maggie!!
Right before Christmas, I got an e-mail inquiring about an extended family session. It would be the first time that this family would all be together and only for a few days. One son was in from Rome, another from Texas and they had just a few days to get this done for their parents.
I am so happy that we were able to make the time to get together and to end 2015 with a pretty awesome group of people. They just had a great energy and that you could feel the genuine love they have for one another. Aren't they just a gorgeous group?!
I am getting so much better with blogging in 2016, right?! :P
Sweet Sienna and I got to hang right before Christmas for her newborn session. How's that for the best Christmas gift! There's nothing more amazing than bringing your new baby home. Happy I was able to capture these precious first days home.
